STAT2510  Section 110 - Statistics for Biological and Health Sciences (Spring 2015, N=20)​

• Really enjoyed the class. Fair grading techniques taught the material well. Felt like I gained a good base knowledge of statistics. I imagine this professor is getting some poor reviews based on the other students in my class, but that is entirely their fault, not his. Class was well conducted overall and ample opportunity was given to make a good grade. 

• Professor was very easy and happy to help outside of class. ​

STAT2510 Section 120 - Statistics for Biological and Health Sciences (Spring 2015, N=19)

• The class was good and well graded. I wish that the mathematical ideas had been explained in more tangible ways. 

• Hard to understand at first, very good teacher once I understood how to completely everything. Would recommend.

STAT3611 Section 151 - Probability and Statistics II Laboratory (Summer 2015, N=10)

• Very nice and wanted students to do well! Very helpful! 

STAT2510 Section 030 - Statistics for Biological and Health Sciences (Summer 2015, N=16)

• Nath did his best to convey all the material in the most clear way possible, seeing as English is his second language. He did a great job keeping the students engaged by asking for their help when writing on the board and answering questions. I would definitely recommend that future students take his class. 

• Good class. I thought professor Nath did a great job teaching. Some people had a hard time understanding him, but in my opinion it wasn't that bad. The only weird thing about the class was that the homework focused so much on using the R program and then on the tests you weren't allowed to use R at all. I feel like the homework assignments could have been used more for preparation for the tests. 

• Although I found the material tricky, Mr. Nath was extremely easy to talk to outside of class. He was very helpful during our meetings outside of class and he genuinely cares about the students learning. He is a very nice guy and I enjoyed his class. 

STAT2510  - Statistics for Biological and Health Sciences (Fall 2015, Section 090, N=26)

• Mr. Nath was a wonderful teacher. He was very approachable and extremely helpful in matters regarding the material and the course. 

• I love the course notes on the website, and they are how I learned the material for this class. The attendance requirement doesn't make much sense to me.

• I do believe he wanted his students to succeed in the class, and he seems very smart! 

STAT2510 - Statistics for Biological and Health Sciences (Fall 2016, Section 080, N=25)

• This class was a difficult math class for me. Professor Nath explained things as best as he could and taught us the material in an effective manner. If I had an improvement it would be to improve the notes on moodle. They do not make sense most of the time. 

STAT2510 090 - Statistics for Biological and Health Sciences(Fall 2016, Section 090, N=27)

• Professor Nath was a wonderful teacher. He was very encouraging throughout the whole semester. He answered any questions that I had. Also, very responsive to emails. Such a great teacher! 

• Noodle and R was pretty irrelevant to what we had to know on tests, but Mr. Nath taught us how to use it well. He was a very understanding teacher.

• Mr. Nath is a good teacher who really wants his students to succeed. I've heard from friends who have bad experiences with GTAs who don't care about their classes, but Mr. Nath clearly does. It was overall a good class. He was very fair in grading. My only criticism is that sometimes he didn't explain concepts quite as well as I would have liked, but maybe that was just due to misunderstanding. 

• Gopal is a very good instructor, although he can be quite pointed when he doesn't understand how someone could get a question wrong. He is very approachable and helpful with anything you may need. I would recommend him to other students to take.

•  Mr. Gnath did a great job teaching a class that I would have normally considered very boring. I learned a lot from him and it was obvious that he wanted all of his students to do the very best that we possibly could. He was quick to respond to emails and very approachable. However, if he's going to pass around an attendance sheet every day, it needs to be done at the beginning of class instead of the end so that students who have classes across campus can make it without being late.

• The best "foreign" professor I've ever had. The best math/stats professor I've ever had. Very friendly guy. Would recommend to everyone that needs to take this class.

MATH1000 - College Algebra(Fall 2017, Section 131, N=30 )

• I think he is an awesome professor, and he works diligently with the students to make sure we understand the material. He also provides opportunities for extra credit and help outside of the classroom. He's really kind and a great professor. 

•  I have really enjoyed taking Mr. Nath’s class this fall. It was a little hard to understand him in the beginning, but as the course developed, I felt like he engaged with us better and figured out ways to relate. Mr. Nath does a great job teaching and I highly respect him. Thank you for being such a great teacher.

STAT3010​- Statistics for Engineers and Scientists (Spring 2018, Section 130, N=30)

• ​Very helpful in class examples. 

• My favorite class of the semester. The class was so well put together. I came out having learned a lot and done well, which are my two objectives when taking a class.

• Mr. Nath was a great instructor and genuinely cared about the success of every student. He was very approachable outside of class and helped in every way that he could.

• Liked how you went over the theory/formulas before doing it in R

• I thought Professor Nath did a fantastic job explaining the material. He was very straightforward in the class, on the homework, and on the exams. I appreciated how he wanted to make sure each student understood the material completely before moving onto a new topic. He was a great help in office hours as well!

• Gopal always gave great examples in class that helped understand the topics he was teaching that day.

STAT 3610 Probability and Statistics II (summer 2018, Section 290, N=12)

• The class went at a very good pace even though it was in such a short amount of time. 

• The assigned homework and Gopal’s in class examples greatly helped me understand the course material. The lectures were well prepared and he explained more difficult material quite well. The exams were fair and I felt that the coursework adequately prepared me for them.

• Professor Nath has definitely been one of my favorite professors I have had at Auburn. He’s a very likeable and approachable guy, as well as a very good teacher. He cares for his student’s education.
